2017 snapper season

2017 snapper season was one for the books.  It started off with great fishing and ended with even better fishing. June and July brought big fish to the dock but you just can’t beat the August and September bite. Bringing in a few fish over 20 pounds every trip.

While fishing between 25-30 miles offshore of biloxi Ms we encountered plenty of fish and beautiful water. In June we had a lot of lemon fish or cobia come over the side along with a limit of snapper. July brought hot weather and calm seas while we didn’t catch as many lemon fish we had a many limits of red snapper and also red drum. August was even hotter, with bigger snapper in the box, a few over 23 pounds, red drum, sharks and jacks gave us all a great pull.

Needless to say we all had a great time during the 2017 snapper season!
